    Pedagogical objectives

    • 1st seminar: general concepts, principles of action and safety rules2nd
    • and 3rd seminar: diving medicine


    General objectives:

    Treat a diving accident, recognize the main contraindications to hyperbaric therapy, condition a patient for a HBOT session (scope, vvp, redons, etc.), know the principles of oro-tracheal intubation, know the principles of an artificial transport ventilator, use emergency medication, perform rescue chest exsufflation

    .

    Manage a chest drain during a HBOT session, adapt hyperbaric treatment according to progress, check that a hyperbaric chamber is working properly, handle a hyperbaric chamber, manage most incidents, manage respiratory, hemodynamic or neurological distress in HBOT, carry out a non-contraindication to diving or aptitude visit for interventions in a hyperbaric environment.

    Eligibility

    • Doctors or medical interns in the process of obtaining a postgraduate diploma (DES) or a postgraduate diploma (DESC) with a proven interest in hyperbaric and underwater medicine.
