Faculté SMPM - Bâtiment pédagogique [Description]

Training offer

The Faculty of Medical and Paramedical Sciences (SMPM) of Aix-Marseille University is built on three pilars: training, research and care.

It is composed of four Schools: medicine, midwifery, rehabilitation sciences, nursing sciences.

This structuring, highlights the paramedical curriculum and enables the pooling of courses. Indeed, training is provided in a cros-cutting approach, to better prepare students for their future professions, allowing them to learn how to work together in a complementary way.

Some training courses also offer learning through simulation, and through the use of innovative equipments to simulate real-life situations. Students can also take part in preventive public health activities.

The range of continuing education programmes is highly developed, giving access to professional development programmes (DCP), to short or diploma courses, and to a patients education programme. The programmes are managed by the joint health training unit (UMFS) of Aix-Marseille University.
