Pedagogical objectives
Pedagogical objectivesKnow how to identify infectious, inflammatory or autoimmune dermatoses, as well as skin cancers, in order to optimize patient referral to a specialized consultation or primary care.
Dermatology accounts for 10 to 15% of a general practitioner's daily activity, and
is a complex specialty.
Current and future medical demographics are making access to dermatology consultations increasingly difficult. As a result, GPs are on the front line in managing chronic dermatoses and screening for skin cancers. In addition to their initial training, GPs need to be given additional, up-to-date training.
