    Teaching of medical law and post-traumatic pathology, with particular emphasis on legal compensation for personal injury, within the framework of the various legislations.

    This course, taught in most medical departments, is an introduction to medical expertise, and is designed to train medical practitioners, insurance company technical assistants and appeal physicians. The training of court-appointed medical experts is rounded off by the award of a university diploma in medical expertise

    is justified by the fact that the medical-legal approach to this important subject in everyday practice is not covered in the course of medical studies, and

    can be considered as part of continuing training (insurance company consultants, civil service doctors, occupational physicians, etc.)
