Postgraduate medical students must defend a M.D. medical thesis in order to graduate with the degree of doctor of medicine.
Objective
The defense of the thesis allows the delivery of the state diploma of doctor of medicine, which authorizes the practice of medicine.
Organization of the defense
The State diploma of doctor of medicine may be awarded at the end of the full validation of the third cycle, together with the award of the diploma of specialized studies.
