    General objectives:

    The

    aim of the training program is to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of spinal surgery, within the framework of specialized training

    .

    Theoretical training is based on traditional lectures accompanied by bibliographical references and/or handouts and/or computer aids (CD-Rom, Internet).

    Practical training consists of internships in departments approved by the management committee, and operative phases on anatomical parts of human and/or animal and/or artificial origin

    • Specialized surgical interns (DES in general surgery, DESC in orthopedics and traumatology, pediatric surgery, and neurosurgery)
    • Holders of equivalent diplomas in orthopedic and traumatological surgery, and
    • neurosurgeryOrthopedic trauma

    • and neurosurgeons holding the French state diploma of doctor of medicine or that of a European Union country
