    main aim of this diploma is to provide a coherent, synthetic training program, focusing on non-exceptional genetic pathologies (high volumes vs. rare diseases) for which medical management (clinical and/or biological) is available.

    The

    content of theoretical teaching will generally follow the following plan:

    The diversity of the target audience and the pooling of teaching resources mean that the course will reflect the diversity of the public involved in multi-professional and multi-disciplinary teams working in genetics.

    tutorials or practical exercises may take the form of bibliographical analysis, clinical case presentations and role-playing (exploring the relationship between carer and patient, RCP, consultations, etc.

    Prerequisites

    A professional project involving an activity related to pathologies with a genetic component that manifest themselves in adulthood (e.g. oncogenetics) and/or the basics of human genetics.
